Two handmade Bunka knives in Damascus steel. A 9 cm paring knife and a 17 cm santoku, each forged from 66 layers of softer steel layered around a hard AUS-10 core. The Tsuchime hammered pattern across both blades creates micro air pockets that reduce drag during cutting, preventing food from sticking—a time-honoured Japanese method paired with modern layered steel.
Sharpened to a 15° double bevel grind, the thin blades deliver clean, precise cuts. Ebony handles balance them perfectly in hand. Each knife comes with a protective bamboo sheath.
