Seagrass fringed pendant shade 140 cm wide – hand-tied

Layers of hand-tied seagrass build the Nyang Nyang outward and downward in cascading fringes — structured at the crown, fluid at the edges. At 140 cm wide it makes a natural centrepiece above a long dining table or in an open living space, softening the light from up to four fittings into a warm, layered glow.

Slender chains hold the shade at the ceiling, keeping the silhouette light despite its 6.5 kg weight — check that your ceiling fitting is rated accordingly. Handmade in Indonesia from natural seagrass; colour and texture will vary gently piece to piece. The fibers may need light reshaping by steam or hand after unpacking — this is normal for a shade of this construction. Shade only, no cable or fitting included. Dust occasionally with a soft, dry cloth. Indoor use only.
