Silver-plated round serving tray – 36 cm

A round serving tray in silver plate, 36 centimetres across and 3.5 centimetres deep. The substantial weight in the metal speaks to durability; the finish catches and holds light. It works equally well carrying breakfast or standing empty as a decorative object on a console.

Silver-plated pieces like this develop patina with time and use, which is part of their story. Whether set with coffee and bread or bearing candles and flowers, the tray creates a frame for what sits on it.
