Quality Checked is our internal approach to reviewing products before they are added to the Scandicart webshop. It reflects how seriously we take product curation in a market full of unfiltered listings.
What we review
- Product images and presentation — clear, accurate, professional
- Material and specification information — sufficient detail for customers to decide
- Intended customer use case — does it actually solve a real need?
- Design fit with Scandicart — does it match our brand aesthetic and values?
- Supplier and fulfilment suitability — reliable delivery, reasonable conditions
- Return and delivery considerations — clear policies, customer-friendly terms
Why it matters
A curated webshop should feel reliable. By reviewing product information before listing, we aim to reduce confusion and help customers make confident decisions — without the noise of unfiltered marketplace listings.
Our honest limitation
For supplier-fulfilled products, our review relies on the information provided by suppliers and product databases. While we cannot physically inspect every product, we do review the available data, presentation and supplier reliability before adding products to our catalogue. We update product information when we learn more or when issues are reported.
If you ever receive a product that does not match the information shown on its page, please contact us — we take these reports seriously and use them to improve.
Continuous quality improvement
Quality Checked is not a one-time action. We re-review listings as we learn more about products, customer feedback and supplier performance — and remove products that no longer meet our standards.
